Mike Nelson
Family Life Center Director
Mike has been faithfully serving our church for many years, and stepped into the role of Family Live Center Director in 202. He moved to Tennessee and joined FBC Rockwood once he ensured the Viking gold would never be found on Oak Island. As a Swede, Mike thinks it's very important to keep "the Curse of Oak Island" television show running for as many seasons as he can, cementing the Vikings' legacy in the United States.
Mike also leads our Joy Fellowship group, planning many fun things for our adults in the 55+ crowd, including trips to Muddy Pond, as well as other social activites.
Whether he's serving in our Family Life Center, fixing the array of things in our building, or running around with Joy Life, his faithful companion, Maggie, isnt far behind. The jingle of her little collar signals to all that happiness isn't far away.
Mike and Maggie bring joy and kindness to all that meet them, and we're so thankful for all they do here at FBC Rockwood.
