Kelley Ellis Rice
Communications Director & FBCkids Director

Kelley has called First Baptist Church home since 2001 and now serves as our FBCkids Director, as well as helping tell the story of what God is doing at FBC Rockwood through social media, photography, video, and other church communications.

Kelley has a heart for helping children know that they are loved, valued, and created by a God who loves them deeply. Her vision for FBCkids is to create a ministry where children don’t simply come to church to be entertained or cared for, but are intentionally discipled through the truth of God’s Word. Through Bible study, worship, play, service projects, and plenty of fun, she wants kids to build a strong foundation of faith and discover what it means to know Jesus, grow in His Word, and carry His light into the world around them.

Her love for communications and content creation began professionally in 2019 and has grown through her work in marketing, real estate, photography, and ministry. Whether she’s behind a camera, creating something for social media, or finding new ways to connect FBC Rockwood with our community, Kelley loves sharing the stories of what God is doing through His church.

Kelley is married to Brian, and together they have two boys, Cooper and Parker, along with Wembley, their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is fairly convinced he is the most important member of the family (because he is).

When she manages to find a little free time, Kelley loves sewing and other creative projects, taking a good nap, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols and Lady Vols.

More than anything, Kelley hopes every family who walks through the doors of FBC Rockwood finds a church where they can belong, grow, serve, and experience the love of Jesus—and she can’t wait to welcome you!
