Katie Nelson
Nursery Director

Katie began attending FBC Rockwood in May 2024 and stepped into the role of Nursery Director that September. Her heart is to share the love of Jesus and the “milk” of God’s Word with the youngest members of our church. She believe nursery and preschool ministry is far more than babysitting—it’s a sacred opportunity to shape minds and guide hearts toward Jesus from the very start.

Katie grew up in church in Southern California and attended Bible college in Central California. In 2022, she married her husband, Aaron, and together they have a beautiful blended family. She loves serving wherever there’s a need—whether that’s in children’s ministry, outreach, or behind the scenes. Her passion is to help others know and grow in Christ, while encouraging young families to get involved and discover the joy of serving in our church community.
